The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Small Grants Scheme is available to all Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Combined Authority area.

To be eligible for the scheme both the applicant and the project must adhere to the criteria.

Eligibility

  •  All applicants must be able to produce evidence of income generation, by means of submitting copies of their accounts, and a forecast to show cash flow after the grant has been paid
  • Eligible projects are those which involve the outright purchase of capital expenditure
  • In some cases, building work may be eligible
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate how the purchase of grant funded equipment will generate new jobs
  • All applicants must be able to produce evidence of income generation, by means of submitting copies of their accounts, and a forecast to show cash  flow after the grant has been paid
  • Whilst the grant can pay up to 50% of the total project costs, it is a requirement that at least one new job will be created for every £10,000 (or part thereof) of grant funding.  For example, a grant of £50,000 could only be applied for if 5 new jobs were to be created

Area of Eligibility

The CPCA area is the county of Cambridgeshire and the district council areas of Cambridge City, South Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Fenland, East Cambridgeshire, Peterborough City, Rutland, West Suffolk, North Hertfordshire, Uttlesford, Lincolnshire – South Kesteven, South Holland, Kings Lynn and West Norfolk.
