An exciting part of the new REACTOR initiative is the annual Big Games Challenge.
Each year the challenge will require participants to focus on solving a problem within a particular sector, or on enhancing and improving experiences, with applied gaming.
Participants are able to access European funded activities and support, to help take initial concepts all the way through to being ready to launch including:
Eligible SMEs interested in taking part in the challenge, with a concept for how applied gaming could be used by visitors or residents to explore the heritage in their area, should sign up for the Big Games Challenge.
Applicants can choose any heritage or cultural theme and any location within GCGP LEP area. The games-based concept could be used in either the physical or virtual space.

All challenge participants are invited to attend the Big Games Pitch, with the best 10 ideas being shared. Representatives from the sector, gaming experts, and potential users will question, challenge and provide advice on how your concept might be improved, delivered or financed
Expression of interest: Email the REACTOR team to express your interest in the challenge along with a completed eligibility form. If you’re not sure about getting involved drop us an email to discuss, we are happy to talk it through with interested parties.
Application form: If your business is eligible, the REACTOR team will send you a short application form requesting an outline of your concept.
