If your business is looking to develop an innovative new product or service, then this scheme run by Anglia Ruskin University may be able to help. Innovation Bridge is an economic development project running until summer 2019.

The scheme offers:

  • Free support to help businesses innovate and grow
  • Access to specialist university expertise
  • A grant programme to support the implementation of a growth plan.

Who can Innovation Bridge help?

  • Individuals, start-ups and existing businesses with fewer than 250 employees (SMEs)
  • Businesses looking to grow and develop a new product or service
  • Businesses seeking expertise and knowledge from cutting edge research

How can Innovation Bridge help?

There is an initial free business review, followed by the support of a university academic to develop an innovation action plan to help grow the business.

There is also a grant programme, which can offer up to 30% of the costs of the implementation of elements of the plan.

What is available?

  • Either a face-to-face or over the phone initial assessment
  • Specialist academic support and expertise to produce an action plan to develop your new product or service
  • Access to a grant programme (between £1,000 and £15,000), covering up to 30% of the investment.
