Fredericks is a Responsible Finance Provider (RFP) and a charity that provides loans to people who want to set up a new business or maintain or expand an existing business. Fredericks is open to anyone who has a viable business proposition but cannot obtain mainstream finance.

Fredericks operates across most of England with dedicated client managers on hand to help and support applicants all the way through the process. The support continues even after the applicant has been successful in the form of mentoring, practical business advice, networking and links within the local community that can help support and grow new and expanding businesses.

Your business can be at any stage: you may require money to start-up; capital to expand your business; or funds to bridge a gap. Whether you are a sole trader, in a partnership or have a limited company you may be eligible for a loan.

For start-up businesses Fredericks Foundation offer up to a maximum of £10,000, though the average loan is less than £5,000. For established businesses with a financial track record of at least three years the maximum loan is £20,000.
