What is the Data Analytics Innovation Voucher?

Organisations can access funded consultancy support to improve their information and data management through the ESRC’s Business and Local Government Data Research Centre.

The Data Analytics Innovation Voucher (DAIV) programme provides vouchers worth up to £2,000 to allow organisations to work with experts across the University of East Anglia (UEA).

The vouchers can be used to help organisations improve their data analytics, or to fund data analytics training for staff. The programme is open to micro, small and medium-sized firms, charities, local authorities and not-for-profits.

Who can use the vouchers and for what purpose?

If you are a micro, small or medium-sized business, local authority, charity, or not-for-profit-organisation, and you need help with your data analytics, then apply now for one of our Data Analytics Innovation Vouchers (DAIVs)!

You can use the voucher to access consultancy from our world class researchers to review your data and improve your analytics, or it can be used to upskill your staff with data analytics training.

You may be unaware of the type of data we can help with, that is absolutely fine! You do not need to have any specific data already collated or stored; our researchers can work with you to identify the data needed to move forward with a project.

Whether you have a specific data project in mind or want to know how you can use the data you have more effectively, we can help.

These vouchers could help fund:

  • Specialist training to up-skill your analysts
  • Specialist expertise through providing research placements
  • Feasibility study or scope for data analysis and improvement

Businesses may apply for up to two vouchers a year, for up to a maximum of three years.
