The Construction Industry Helpline provides a 24/7 safety net for all construct workers and their families in the UK and Ireland.

It is a charitable service funded by the industry for t he industry and provides:

  • emergency financial aid to construction families in crisis
  • advice on occupational health and mental wellbeing
  • support on legal, tax and debt management matters
  • support and advice for sufferers of stress and addiction-related illnesses
  • advice on matters ranging from divorce to employment
  • help to manage and reschedule debt
  • help to understand the benefits system and your entitlement, especially if you are caring for others
  • support on career changes, especially after an accident or injury preventing you from returning to your original job.

Products available

The Construction Industry Helpline also offers a helpline pack for sites or businesses.

Each pack contains posts and helpline cards to distribute to a workforce.

How they’ve helped

Last year, the Construction Industry Helpline supported 1500 families in crisis and 400 construction families received a total of £750,00 in emergency financial aid. 1100 causes related to mental health and  wellbeing advice, debt management and tax support and legal assistance.
