The exciting new two-week programme combines core sessions from business school academics with hands-on sessions from business practitioners and successful entrepreneurs. 

The programme is for current undergraduates, recent graduated, and all aspiring entrepreneurs with a basic understanding of business.

After an introduction to the concept of entrepreneurship, teams of participants will being invited to generate and select simple business ideas. These ideas are then used to underpin the core sessions,  illustrating how aspects of business and entrepreneurship covered during the programme can be applied in real life.

In addition to these sessions, the programme also provides a set of mentoring and coaching sessions where specific issues can be addressed in more detail.

Core Sessions

Sessions will introduce participants to a wide range of key issues and common themes in business and entrepreneurship. All students attend these sessions.

Teamwork

Working successfully in teams is a key skill: teams of participants will be invited to generate and select business ideas. Meeting daily, teams will use these ideas to underpin core sessions. Teams work towards a pitch to a panel of entrepreneurs on the final day of the programme.

Mentoring sessions

Small-group mentoring and coaching sessions early in the programme help teams to consolidate their plans.

Evening talks

Eminent speakers will present a variety of general interest talks. These are shared with students in other programmes.

Typical day

  • 7:45am/8am – 8:45am – Breakfast in College (residents only)
  • 9:15am – 10:30am – Core session (longer 1st session)
  • 10:30am – 11am – Break
  • 11am – 12pm – Core session/Mentoring
  • 12pm – 1pm – Core session
  • 1pm – 2pm – Lunch
  • 2pm – 3pm – Teamwork/Core session
  • 3pm – 3:30pm – Break
  • 3:30pm – 4:30pm – Teamwork
  • 4:30pm – 6:30pm – Private study time/Free time
  • 6:30pm – 7:30pm – Dinner in College (residents  only)
  • 8pm – 9pm – Evening talk/event
