REACTOR Project Launches New Incubator Space

On 26th January 2018 the REACTOR Project will launch a brand new Incubator space in Cambridge designed for small and medium enterprises and start-up companies to use as a collaborative space and resource as part of the project.

The space will offer an environment for businesses to develop and refine their ideas with access to top-of-the-range software on hi-spec machines, alongside academic and technological expertise to help successfully transition innovative thought from concept to reality.

A launch party event is being held on 26th January 2018 at the Incubator Space in Compass House to mark the opening of this innovation support facility. People are invited to come along for games to play and worlds to immerse yourself in, created by Anglia Ruskin University Games Art students. The Incubator Space supporting academics and technical support staff, as well as visiting speakers, will also be available to discuss through ideas and concepts.

Jan Storgards, Project Director said:
“We are excited to launch our unique software makespace which will give SMEs and Startups access to top of the range tools from the games industry, adding distinctive value to their products and services”, Dr. Jan Storgårds, Director, Reactor
