LEP Summit announced

The Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP is hosting a Business Summit to enable local businesses and other partners to meet the people who will be making local economic decisions going forwards.

Part of the half day event will be a Question Time-style debate. This will offer the business owners in attendance a rare opportunity to ask the questions on topics that really matter to them. On the day, the panel will include:

  • James Palmer, the recently-elected Conservative mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
  • Mark Reeve, Chairman of the LEP
  • Rachel Talbot, interim chief executive of the Grate Cambridge City Deal, and,
  • Richard Duxbury, from the Trinity Mirror Group

The Summit will be held on Friday 30th June and will aim to help business owners understand the various partnerships that will be working together to further improve the local economy.

Further speakers will be announced shortly, so keep an eye on Twitter @YourLEP and @Signpost2Grow.

The event will be held at the Granta Centre, Granta Park, Cambridge, CB21 6AL and will run from 8:30am until 12 noon.

Places must be booked in advance by emailing karen.ball@cambridge-news.co.uk.
