Your all-in-one free business support hub
Designed to help farmers and scientists understand more about each other’s worlds, the Forum organises informal events in the lab and the field aimed at helping bridge the gap between research and production. Read more about previous events here and here.
Join Agri-Tech East for a tour of Cornerways, an award winning business producing 140 million eco-friendly tomatoes per year!
The event will look at how tomatoes are grown in the glasshouses, and how Cornerways reduce and re-use waste products to improve their environmental impact. Take a look a video.
There will also be discussions with student scientists on their work on tomatoes, and how it translates to benefits for the farmers and growers.
If you’re a young farmer, or a young scientist, sign up for this free event on Wednesday 8th June, from 9:30am – 12pm to tour Cornerways and find ways to implement research and production.
For further information and to register, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Places are limited and on a first come, first serve basis!
Please note – bees are kept in the glasshouse. If you are allergic to bee stings, you may not be able to enter the glasshouse for the tour – please speak to us.
You will also need steel toed boots – you can bring your own, or let us know your shoe size if you’d like to borrow a pair.
