It’s all very well and good knowing that your field might have problems, but wouldn’t it be more useful to know exactly where the problem spots are? That’s what you will be learning about at this Agri-Tech East SIG event.

Geo-spatial information (location specific data) could be captured in field resulting in farmers being able to make much more targeted treatments to their soils. The potential power of geo-spatial in agriculture is far broader than in-field mapping; understanding the location of a field opens up a large number of potential data that can be linked to the field and used for in-field, whole field or mult-field analyses.

The unique element of this event is the bringing together of technologists and end users to hopefully inform and develop the technology that already exists, and is yet to be developed, to ensure that devices are farm-friendly.
