Over 75% of first presentations to banks against documentary letters of credit are rejected, resulting in delays in receiving payment, additional costs, and missed deadlines.

This course unravels the complexities of letters of credit. It also describes the 7 main types and how they are used, then provides invaluable insights into getting a properly costed and workable letter of credit, without having to pay for amendments.

Courses are British Chambers of Commerce accredited, and equivalent to NVQ Level 2. Each course successfully completed counts towards the nationally recognised Foundation Award in International Trade. The successful completion of six modules will be required to obtain the full Foundation Award in International Trade, this course counts as two credits towards the Award.
