South Cambridgeshire District Council is inviting local small and medium sized businesses to learn about they can do business with the council at a supplier event on the 4 January 2018.
Companies will have the opportunity to learn about how they can find out about forthcoming council contracts, they will be given information and advice on the procurement process from officers and hints and tips on how to successfully tender for a council contract. Council officers involved in purchasing will also be available to talk to businesses following the meeting.
South Cambridgeshire District Council spends of approximately £16 million each year on the supplies and services it needs to deliver services to residents and businesses in the district. This provides businesses of all sizes and from all sectors with a wide range of potential commercial opportunities.
