11am: Thinking Money Down The Drain: Be more creative…The Value of Creativity – Presented by The Ideas Centre
In this talk Alex Menham of The Ideas Centre will explain how a culture of creativity and innovation can differentiate businesses – helping to attract and retain the best staff, generate fresh ideas, and create outstanding value in a changing world.

11am: The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Workshop and Benefits of Applying – Presented by The Queen’s Awards for Enteprise Programme
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is an awards programme for British businesses and other organisations who excel at international trade, innovation or sustainable development. They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses and are free to enter.

12.30pm: Starting Up: First Steps – Presented by Nwes
If you are considering starting your own business, this session will give you a firm foundation on which to build your business, covering business viability, how to register with the tax authorities, types of business structure, legal considerations when naming your business, and market research.

2pm: King’s Lynn Innovation Centre Architect’s Review – Presented by Philip Bodie, Feilden and Mawson (F+M)
Partner at Feilden+Mawson architects and designer of the King’s Lynn Innovation Centre, Philip Bodie will present an overview of the project from the designer’s point of view, including the background to the site, early design considerations and why the building looks the way it does.

2pm: Find The Funding – Presented by Nwes, including Q&A with New Anglia LEP
Whether a start-up or existing business, this session looks at funding options and provides sound advice on how to apply. Representatives from local banks and the New Anglia LEP will, alongside Nwes, provide expert advice on applying for bank finance, grant options, crowdfunding, and presenting your case.

2pm: Creativity: The Power Of Innovation – Presented by The Ideas Centre
In this talk Alex Menham of The Ideas Centre discussed how to unlock the power of innovation for business.
