This is a free, informative networking event for Fenland businesses. The focus for this session will be growing your business in Fenland.
Speakers will include:
eXceeding – a leading bid writing company, eXceeding will be sharing how you can get your own company bid-ready and share some top tips on writing winning tenders.
TinFish Creative – this local award winning digital marketing agency will discuss business branding and the importance of website design in winning customers.
Anglia Ruskin University – working with Innovate UK, Anglia Ruskin University have launched ‘Keep +’ to connect small to medium sized enterprise (SMEs) with academic expertse, access to the university’s R&D capabilities as well as other businesses. The programme aims to help SMEs develop new products or services, increase profitability, reduce costs, provide you with a stepping stone to larger-scale innovation opportunities, access graduate talent. The project is funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support business investment in research and innovation (R&I) and help foster collaboration between businesses and the higher education sector. Anglia Ruskin are also developing Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) thanks to support from Innovate UK. KTPs form a partnership between organisations, graduates and Anglia Ruskin University as the academic training provide. These bring knowledge, expertise and resources to organisations and help drive innovation.
This is the second in a new series of free, informative networking sessions held bi-monthly in Chatteris where Fenland businesses can hear from local experts on topical business issues and network in an informal setting.
The first event in April focused on finance and funding options for smaller businesses with the second event in June taking a look at skills development in Fenland with talks from College of West Anglia, Metalcraft and The Skills Service.
