Jose Richart is an International Trade Adviser in the UK Trade & Investment East team. He has worked as an Export Sales Manager for 10 years in different Spanish manufacturers of consumer goods, selling to Asia with a great focus on the Japanese market. During this time, he travelled to Japan in many different occasions in order to negotiate deals with prospect clients. He also lived in Tokyo for one and a half years when he joined the ETP programme for European executives, where he learnt Japanese and did internships in 2 Japanese companies.
Joining Jose will be UKTI Culture & Language advisor Susannah Poulton. Susannah will explain the importance of understanding the culture of the any international market and all marketing material, including websites, needs to reflect this.
