This online workshop will focus on how to build bridges to reach your deaf audiences and where to place your marketing messages. You’ll learn how to best incorporate this in your marketing strategy  and most  importantly, it  will allow you to start an honest conversation about access within your organisation.

There is an assumption that deaf people have the same cultural norms as hearing people. For deaf people, whose first or preferred language is BSL, cultural norms are  different, just as they are for other who do not have English as their first language.

What will I gain?

  • Knowledge of the correct symbols, logos and language to use
  • Confidence to ask questions to deaf  audiences and about deaf audiences
  • Top tips to formulate a more holistic approach to access.

Who is it aimed at?

Marketers who want to focus on access at a strategic level.

  • Sarah Gatford, Consultant, Trainer and BSL/English Interpreter, Sarah Gatford Ltd.
