Join Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce for this prestigious event at Peterborough Cathedral, with inspiring speakers, a debate and networking to celebrate International Women’s Day.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

The aim of the event is to raise the profile of issues that are central to career development for female colleagues at both a local and national level. There will be opportunity to share experiences in a supportive environment which will be captured to provide a bank of ideas and thoughts that can be circulated to all those attending.

Opening the event will be keynote speaker Dame Mary Archer DBE who will share her own experiences and challenges faced during her career. Dame Mary has had a varied career in the world of Science, and is currently chair of the trustees of the National Science Museum Group. From a local level we will hear from Anna Lee, Supplier Quality Manager at Caterpillar, who leads a global team ensuring quality components are received from Caterpillar’s supply base.

Over light refreshments we will debate the International Women’s Day theme ‘Be Bold for Change’ and take time to consider our own ambition or aspiration and barriers faced as women.

Registration is from 10.30am with tea/coffee and time to network. The formal part commences at 11.00am until 1.00pm and further refreshments will be served during this time.
